Previous Announcements

[Nov 17, 2019]  For participants who will attend the Research Networking Event (RNE), there will be no internet connection provided by BMEiCON2019. Please also be aware that there will be mobile roaming cost in Laos including Thai mobile service providers.

[Nov 16, 2019]  The technical program was recently updated.

[Nov 15, 2019]  An extended version of accepted papers and successfully presented at BMEiCON2019 are invited for submission and consideration for publication in the ThaiBME official journal, the International Journal of Applied Biomedical Engineering (IJABME). Click for details

[Nov 14, 2019]  There will be an RNE desk to pick up and process your documents for crossing Thai-Lao border. BMEiCON2019 participants who will attend the Research Networking Event (RNE) on November 21–22, 2019 need to stop by the RNE desk after you complete the conference registration.

[Nov 14, 2019]  There will be a van to pick BMEiCON2019 participants up from the Ubon Ratchathani International Airport (UBP) to Sunee Grand Hotel & Convention Center on November 19-20, 2019. Departure time: 08:40 and 13:15 (Note that the van will be rearranged to accommodate in case of flight delay)

[Nov 14, 2019]  The e-booklet is now available.

[Oct 15, 2019]  Today will be the last day for early-bird rate. From tomorrow, it will be late registration rate. Authors still need to confirm attending the conference by filling  the registration form and submitting within October 25, 2019 or the paper will be removed from the program. 

[Oct 8, 2019]  The registration for BMEiCON2019 (http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019/index.php/registration) is now open. Early-bird Registration!

[Oct 8, 2019]  A technical program for BMEiCON2019 (http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019/index.php/program) is updated.

[Oct 4, 2019]  The main venue of the conference will be organized at Sunee Grand Hotel & Convention Center (http://www.suneegrandhotel.com/), Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand between November 19-20, 2019.
The conference banquet will be held at Arawan Riverside Hotel on November 21, 2019.
The research networking event (RNE) will be held between November 21-22, 2019 at both Thailand and Loas attractions. Note that student registration does not include the conference banquet and the RNE. Students who want to join the conference banquet and the RNE must pay the additional fee (http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019/index.php/registration).

[Oct 1, 2019]  The tentative program is available at Program (http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019/index.php/program). 

[Sep 14, 2019]  The conference banquet will be held at Arawan Riverside Hotel, Pakse, Laos on November 21, 2019. Note that a hotel room at Arawan Riverside Hotel on the conference banquet night will be provided for participants who register as 'Regular'.

[Sep 09, 2019]  There is still request for deadline extension. BMEiCON2019 deadline will then be extended to September 15, 2019. This will be hard deadline.

[Aug 31, 2019]  Due to numerous request, the deadline of BMEiCON2019 Paper submission will be extended to September 10, 2019 (Local Time).



The 12th Biomedical Engineering International Conference (BMEiCON2019) is intended to provide an international forum where researchers, practitioners, and professionals interested in the advances in, and applications of, biomedical engineering can exchange the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas through presentation and discussion.   All accepted papers are expected to be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI.

The BMEiCON2019 will be held in Ubon Ratchathani (Thailand) and Pakse (Laos) on November 19–22, 2019. Ubon Ratchathani is a province with long history and in the northeast of Thailand. It is famous for its Candle Festival and the pre-historic paintings at Pha-Tam. Ubon Ratchathani is also the gateway to southern Laos.

The organizing committee is pleased to invite all researchers, engineers, physicians, scientists, technicians, and technologists to attend and help shaping the future of biomedical engineering. The topics for regular sessions include, but are not limited to, the followings:

  • Biomedical signal processing
  • Biomedical imaging and image processing
  • Bioinstrumentation
  • Bio-robotics and biomechanics
  • Biosensors and biomaterials
  • Cardiovascular and respiratory systems engineering
  • Cellular and tissue engineering
  • Healthcare information systems
  • Human machine/computer interface
  • Medical device design
  • Neural and rehabilitation engineering
  • Technology commercialization, industry, education, and society
  • Telemedicine
  • Therapeutic and diagnostics systems
  • Recent advancements in biomedical engineering

 

Submission of Papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers including figures, tables, and references via our website at http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019. All papers will be peer reviewed and handled electronically. All papers submitted must be previously unpublished and may not be considered for publication elsewhere at any time during the review period.

Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy attend and present the paper at the conference. For additional information and submission guidelines, please visit our website at http://www.bmeicon.org/bmeicon2019.
